Categories but exclude
Categories but exclude is a widget that lists the blog categories but with the option of excluding some of them. Unlike other similar plugins, as Almost All Categories Widget, Categories but exclude uses the last version of the widgets API from WordPress, which is multi-widget, what allows us to use the widget more than once.

Mainly, I have created the plugin to be able to use it with the WPML plugin together with Widget Logic, to generate widgets for each language. You can download the plugin from the WordPress plugin directory, Categories but exclude.
